please check my thinking
'95 Jimmy, 2 door, auto 4x4, okay couple of weeks ago the truck acted like it ran out of gas and has not started since; checking fuel pressure today at the valve at the plenum I turn the key on, get the fuel pump noise and a whopping 20psi which drops to nothing as soon as the fuel pump stops. So, there are no leaks that I can find, that does not seem like enough pressure to start the truck so I am thinking **** poor fuel pump.
new in last 6 months: battery, TPS, MAPS, fuel pressure regulator, plenum gasket, cleaned EGR valve, coil, cap/rotor/wires/plugs.

Normal fuel pressure is 60-66 psi.
I think MINIMUM is something like 58.
Leakdown is 10 minutes shouldn't drop below 55 i believe.
Sounds like pump or FPR.....I'm betting on pump.
When replacing use DELPHI or ACDelco ONLY...if you don't you'll be replacing it again in short order.
Also, check the link in my sig ....there's a tech article in there to test the fuel system and make SURE it's your pump

Yes, that is why I am posting car won't run, cheap fuel pump about six months ago. The good news is the straps and bolts and nuts are new and it is really clean up in there now. If you have a favorite vendor for the pump and assembly feel free to let me know.
Rockauto.com is my "favorite vendor" If you google rockauto discount codes you can usually find a 5% off online coupon.
