I don't know why I didn't try this yesterday. I just sprayed some wd40 on the gas pedal and the spring in the engine (my mind is blanking and I forgot the name), but now it drives fine. The engine still jumps, and the handling sucks, but at least I fixed the thing that was going to kill me.

I didn't even fix it. It is a computer problem. The brakes seem to get very hard when it happens. I shut it off and turned it back on, and the RPMs jumped to 6k faster than I could ever accelerate. I turned it off and back on again and it was fine. I can feel it just waiting to do it again though. This happened 2 times on the way to school, and the first time, I didn't even have my foot on the accelerator.

The brakes getting hard is an indication of a loss of vacuum pressure to the brake booster. You may have a problem with the line that runs from the engine to the booster and/or a problem with the booster itself (internal vacuum leak) that is causing your run-away acceleration. It wouldn't run great under these circumstances because the MAF sensor is not seeing the air coming in, but it would still run.
Removal of the throttle body should be on your list of things to do ASAP as well. Get it off, remove the IAC (idle air control) valve, and give everything a thorough cleaning. Spraying WD40 on some things would likely result in only a temporary relief of the symptoms and something as dangerous as unintended acceleration needs to be dealt with sooner rather than later.
