Default PLEASE!!! need help bad

Okay well the last couple months i've had alot of trouble getting my blazer started, It usually wont start in the morning or after it's sat for more than 8 hours. Sometimes i get the Dreaded security light, and sometimes i dont. The security light also just comes on randomly when i'm driving but doesnt ever stall.

Well this morning when i went to crank up my car, i still had the same trouble starting it. But there was no security light. Once i started it, it ran for a couple seconds and then stalled out, i tried starting it again and when i got it going i reved it a couple times and i heard a water slushing noise that i've never heard before, and then it stalled out. It finally started after a couple tries but this is getting annoying.

Anybody have any ideas?

Thanks in advanced

you will need to provide information like year, mileage, engine size. It may also be helpful to know of any recent work you've had done. The fuel pumps are a common cause for an engine cranking over but not starting although it doesnt' usually cause it to stall. Please give more information and hopefully someone out here can help.

You'll need to hook up a guage and check the fuel pressure. You should have about 60psi.
You should also check for spark to the plugs.

$900 bucks for a fuel pump! Whats the world coming too? Glad I drive an old clunker that's cheap to fix. For that kinda money I slap an inline electric in it.

4900 seems excessive. Teh pump is about $350 from the dealer. It only takes a couple hours with the right tools.
