Po442...
Happy new year everyone! Well my SES light came on today and coded thus. I have searched this forum but have yet to find a defintive answer. The side bar by swartlkk would not load-so I could go no further there. I am not happy with the condition of the entire filler neck assembly and already have a new one to install in the spring. So,am I to assume that this problem relates to this area? -Of course all new lines will be in order,as perhaps a new gasket for the pump assembly-since I will have to drop the tank for that job anyway...
What about that canister behind the left rear wheel? Anything special to look for and/or replace? I am going to toss on a new gas cap for grins and giggles to see if that is the culprit-but I think not... Trouble is:it runs FINE and still delivers 21-24 mpg! I guess some electrical tape is goin' over that light in the morning! Let me know if you all have any input!

Here's the diagnostic sheet:
P0442 - Evaporative Emission Control System Leak Detected (small leak)
Run a search as well for what others have run into concerning this code.
If the filler neck has a leak, it may trigger this code or the large leak code.
