Is there a part number for just the vent control, or do you have to buy the whole HVAC control panel? As far as I can tell, all I need is the vent controller and maybe the plastic block on the back that the vacuum lines go into, but Rock Auto, Auto Zone, and other places only list the entire panel.

 

Pretty sure you can only buy the panel itself. As I recall, the price isn't too bad. I bought one a few years ago but ended up not needing it. Ended up putting it in the garage for when I will need it.

 

Yeah, you can get 'em for about $75. I'd rather just buy the components that I need instead of a whole panel, but I guess it is what it is.

 

Hmmm... might have found the part I was looking for - AC Delco 15-72150. Quite a bit cheaper.

Kind of a bear sometimes when you don't know what the official name of the part is.

 

What's your symptoms. When I bought mine it had a broken blend door actuator that had it stuck in heat mode.
