Default Post intake gasket replacement problem

Okay, my bro-in-law and I did the intake gasket this weekend, it was leaking coolant. Everything went well, I did a search on this forum and found a good write-up. After all was done, the car started up no problem, and we let it run for about 10 minutes to check for leaks and temp. We shut it off for a few minutes, but when we went to restart, it would just crank. After checking all connections, I had him turn the ignition while I manually pulled on the accelerator cable and it fired up. Apparently it's having some problems starting after it's warmed up. Any info would be appreciated.

Okay, I noticed I didn't specify the year of this blazer, it's a 2001. I found one of the emissions hoses disconnected, fixed that. We went ahead and replaced the thermostat because it was old. One thing that is occuring is the temp gauge needleis not moving up, just stays all the way to the left. Where exactly is the temp sending unit on this truck? One other thing is how do you adjust the throttle cable tension? The cable on the right (drivers side) seems to be really loose. At times the truck almost stalls while idling. We are going to get the codes read and go from there. The truck previously had the service engine soon light on before we even fixed the intake coolant leak. Thanks for any info.

If the SES light is on, then get the codes pulled and let us know what the codes are. Don't worry about the throttle cables being loose. That is the way they are supposed to be, with no adjustment needed. The coolant temp sensor is in the left cylinder head, between the # 1 and 3 cylinders. That is about all I can do for right now until you give me more info! Thanks.
