Ok Ive done the quad beam mod multiple different ways none work perfectly. I have a 97 Olds Bravada. I tried the grounding the yellow method nothing happened if I recall. I have tried the relay method with multiple instruction sets. I tried the one on the s10 forum with a relay and it didnt make anything happen. I t have tried the method that sends 12V to pin 87, ground to 86, high + to 30 and low+ to 85. This setup allows my DRL to work, but the low beam selection makes my high beams and low beams come on, high selection makes only highs come on. I have tried another setup that runs 12V to pin 87, ground to 86, high + to 85, and low + to 30. This method works for low beams with low selection and all 4 at high beam, but in this method my DRL stay on for a few seconds when I start the truck and then shut off. My high beams are my DRL. Is there something I can do to have DRL work and have lows on during low selection and all 4 with high?

The biggest problem is that the DRLs are the highbeams on reduced power. That complicates things.
Without looking at the wiring diagrams and how the DRL is involved, I would not be able to comment on how to really wire it up properly.

Yah after a little more testing it seems that this 40amp 12v relay may be bad, sometimes when I start now the DRL will stay on fine, sometimes they turn off nearly instantly, and yet other times they will go off after a few seconds when I start but if I cycle my headlights they will come back on and stay on.

Check the voltage on the high beam positive wire. That may be your issue. The high beam DRLs use a lower voltage which is likely not treating your relay well.
