I have an 03 blazer. For some reason when you accelerate or slow down the radio volume will increase if accelerating or decrease if slowing down very mildly. But will not register on the radio face that the volume is going up or down.???? It doesnt have a secondary **** on the radio which in some cases when it does have that 2nd **** will move sometimes. but this one doesnt and this doesnt make any sense... does anyone have any idea what this could possibly be. Thanks

 

Is there an outer ring on your volume **** labelled something like "SCV"? Thats the speed controlled volume. I would imagine the ring has been turned clockwise turning the system on.

 

It is not another ring, but a setting in the radio. You probably have yours set to high which really cranks up the volume as you increase your speed.

 

Yep, my 06 impala has the speed volume control. I finally shut it off since no matter where you set it, hi med low, it never really worked all that accurate.
