All is well. Thanks everybody. I put a 12V source going through my Cigarette lighter thinking that would do it. While messing around with the battery, I kicked out the extension cord going to my 12V setup. After all was together the radio was fine. So it was never activated. Whew!

I have a 98 Blazer that I bought in January. Yesterday my son told me the truck wouldn't start. When I was getting ready to jump it off I noticed the positive cable connection was loose on the battery. "OF COURSE" I took the cable off cleaned it and reattached it to the battery. I forgot that I would need to reset the code after the battery was disconnected and reconnected. Now I'm unable to reset the code and I've been told that the only way to get the code is from the dealer for approx. $75-100. I tried the previously mentioned steps but when I call the toll free number, I get the prompt "invalid code". Any advice???
Thank you in advance.

Turn the key on engine off, press and hold the #2 and #3 preset buttons at the same time until a 2-digit number comes up on the display, remember it and press the am/fm button then another 2-digit number will display. These create a 4-digit number that is needed to obtain the FACTORY unlock code. Get me that 4-digit number and I will call and get your UNLOCK code.

While changing the radio in his 04 Trailblazer, my nephew succeeded in killing the truck. The lights and radio turn on, but the windows and door locks won't operate, and also, the truck won't start. Not even a click. Any suggestions??
Thanks in advance..
