randomly stalls

Default randomly stalls

i have a 2000 4x4 blazer it has stalled about 3 times in the last 4 months it does not over heat just stops running will crank but will not start ,but let it sit about 1 hour it will start and run fine it seems like somthings heating up and then stalls,and when it cools will start again changed wires plugs and cap and happend again. any sugestions?

You can remove the ICM (ignition control module) and the coil and have them tested. Both, if overheated, can cause problems with starting.

When it isn't starting, does your 'security' light stay illuminated no the dash? If so, the problem could be with the ignition switch.

i didnt notice if security light was on but in the past the icm fuse blew 3 or 4 times
