Default rear brake hanging

Just replaced the rear pads and rotors on my 2000 ZR2 and now the driver side is hanging up. I assume it's the caliper but thought I'd see if anyone had any other ideas of what the cause may be. Need to get it fixed soon, my MPG has taken a serious hit the last couple days. Thanks

check the parking/ebrake it might need adjustment since you put new rotors on.

It's not the e-brake. It engages, holds and releases the same as it ever did. Thanks though.

Very common problem. Whenever rear disc brakes are serviced on S&T series, you should always use complete reman loaded calipers. They include the caliper, pads, guide pins, all hardware and the brackets. Bolt it on and bleed it.... done. If you don't, the piston or the guide pins will bind, or both. Bottom line, it's not worth the risk of burning up a set of new pads and rotors, do it all and be done with it.

The caliper piston is not the only thing that binds up. Did you get the hardware, guide pins and brackets with the calipers? Check the pads closely for cracks from overheating too.

The set of calipers I got came with everything but pads. So everything's new. Seems to be working fine now. Thanks for the responses
