Default Rear Defrost Cable Re-Attachment

ok so the rear defrost cable connection on the driver side has fallen off the back glass and i was wondering if someone could tell me the best place to get the proper "glue" to reattach it.. i've been to the local glass shop and they recommended for me to go to another glass shop because they said their glue wasn't good enough and would only fall off after a little while.. they also said it would cost $80.. that seems a little steep to me to just put a little glue on a connection and send me on my way... THX to any and all that can help in advance
