Rear tailgate glass craziness
The rear one does not actually have a lock, but thanks the info. The connections on the motor in the tailgate seem good, think im going to check the switches, I have sorta been thinking all along the dash switch is acting up, and I would think that would come before the switch in the tailgate which could mess up the entire system, but I don't know, thanks its good to know, I have more info to start here.
The two switches simply complete a ground circuit to trigger the BCM to unlatch the glass. If the wire is broken anywhere along the circuit and randomly grounding out, it can cause the erratic operation. Since you cannot get the rear button to work, I would suspect the fault is in the circuit from this switch to the BCM
