Default Remote starter install 99 Blazer

I installed a remote start in my 99 4.3 and can't get the door locks to work. Instructions with the Pro Start installation guide say BROWN wire from module is (-) Lock output, 500ma negative output, 7/10 second, or 4 second pulse. GREEN wire from module is (-) Unlock output, 500ma negative output, 7/10 second, 4 second, or double 1/4 second pulse.

Was informed that BROWN goes to Lt Blue wire in drivers kick panel or in the Brown connector at the BCM. And, the GREEN wire goes to the White wire in the drivers kick panel or in the Brown connector at the BCM.

Removed drivers kick panel but no wires behind it so targeted the wires at the BCM.

I am color blind which isn't a good way to start so not quite sure if I had the Brown wire connected to the Lt Blue wire for Lock but am pretty sure I had the Green wire hooked into the White wire at the Brown connector at the BCM for Unlock.

When I triggered the key fob to lock or unlock the doors I could hear the remote start module click but the door locks did not respond. Can anyone offer some assistance on getting the door locks to function. Thanks

The locks on your blazer are positive (+) pulse. You need to use relays to convert the negative pulse from your remote starter to positive for the vehicle. Most remote starter instructions include information on how to do that if you need.
