Start by removing the grille assembly....

there are 6 bolts... four up top under where the grille was sitting and then one on each side in front of the wheels...

if memory serves me properly have a 15mm handy.... and an extension

This is right. I just had mine off my '99 for the first time. The grill had never been removed before and was really tight, but finally popped loose. Then you can get to all the top bolts, and the one at each end like stated above. Pretty easy if you can twist a wrench!

Good luck

its pretty easy to take off. the grill just pops off and once you take the bolts out of the bumper just wiggle it out. gotta watch out for the styrofoam shock gaurds. and thats all there is to it
