Removing front brake rotors on '98 4-Door

So I am doing a brake job and having trouble getting the old rotors off.....I completely removed the brake pad assembly by undoing those two bolts that mount it to the frame, are there any other bolts I need to remove to get the rotor off? I did a brake job a while ago on my mother's 2000 Ford Excursion, and there ended up being one center bolt in the middle of the rotor that was hidden under a cap that I needed to remove. I have been slamming this thing for an hour with a big rubber tipped hammer and I am getting nowhere. Any suggestions?

Only bolts you have are the two on the caliper and two on the caliper frame. Should pop right off. It might just be stuck to the hub assembly. I've had that happen to me. Maybe try spraying some PB Blaster behind the rotor and give it some time to soak in. Do you have 2wd or is it 4wd?

My rotors were also stuck to the hub assembly the last time I replaced them. I fixed the issue by building up enough rage and getting a big enough hammer. Use some lubricant, as already mentioned. I should also note that I had to use 100% force with the hammer to get it to budge. Once you see it move a mm, keep at it, because you're home free.

yea just get some type of lubricant and a hammer since your replacing them and go to town

yeah I was gonna try and see if I can get them machined but I don't think that is an option anymore considering I am going to bash them with a hammer...
I turned the steering wheel all the way to one side as well to get a good angle to hit it from the back side and still nothing so i guess I just need to beat the crap out of them to get them off and invest in some new ones.

Honestly with the price of rotors anymore it's sometimes even cheaper to buy new than find someone who resurfaces them.

well hit them as a last resort if your thinking about trimming them, just sayin if you had new ones already then who cares. try putting the lubricant on the studs and center hub and give it a good 5-10 min to soak in while you go have a smoke or something lol then come back and try to hit em off.
im assuming the caliper and bracket are both off?

Use a good size hammer and just wack it one time and it should pop right off !! lubricant is also a good idea!! I had a 4wd silverado that i had to hit and crack in half to get off ,i was told that was the best way to get it off ,but you shouldnt have to go there...
