I want to remove the rear bumper cover on my 2000 GMC Jimmy, I tried searching but could not find a link. I have a Haynes manual but it does not show how to remove the bumper cover. If anyone has a link or instructions it would be greatly appreciated.
Update: I figured it out there are 4 nuts on each end of the bumper that have to be removed. I got the lower 2 on each end but the upper ones are either rusted on or just extremely torqued. In order to get straight on the upper nuts I have to go through the lower bolt openeings with a 3/8" extension and put the socket on after the extension is through the lower bolt hole. I put an 1/2" adapter and my IR 231 Impact wrench and the nuts will not budge. Next I put a 1/2 Breaker bar and broke two 3/8 in extensions. So I sprayed the nuts with PB Blaster and I will try again on Christmas day with the Impact wrench.
