Default Replaced fuel regulator now no start

I was having hard starting problem and found the fuel pressure regulator leaking. After replacing the regulator the car wont start, it just turns over but will not start up. Does anyone have any ideas? I can hear the pump running in the tank but no start. I have a 99 blazer 4.3. Thanks for the help

I went to the bleeder port in the eng compartment and all I am getting is air. Is there any other way to bleed the lines. I think this might be the problem

should be no reason to have to bleed the line if the pump is working properly
check all the lines back to the tank if there no breaks crack the output connection on the top of the top of the tank. If on the three second prime no fuel is spitting back there you have a dead pump

is your truck on an angle these baby's are classic for zero fuel in the nose down position

My mistake, looks like I didn't prime the sysyem long enough. I do have fuel pressure at the port but still no start. I don't smell any fuel so I am guessing it is a fuel problem. I guess it could be a bad regulator

One question, doe the nipple with the o-ring at the end plug into anything? When I look inside the spyder all I see is a open cavity. Is is just there to hold the screen on?

The nipple on the regulator does Not connect to anything, do not plug it off. It uses the manifold vacuum while sealed inside of the upper manifold.

The fuel tube down the center of the spyder manifold came out, I found it on top of the transmission. Thanks for the help. It all doesn't matter now, seems like one of the fuel line nuts went into the manifold and now I have a blown engine. Guess I should have covered the openings more carefully. RIP
