Default Replaced Rear Glass Pushbutton

Today I replaced my rear glass pushbutton because the glass would open from the dash and the remote but not from the pushbutton. It was fairly straight forward, remove the inside panel, remove the mounting plate below the button, slide the retainer off the pushbutton and disconnect the electrical connection. Installation is the reverse of removal. The only thing you have to be aware of is that there is a retaining screw that is located behind the glass in the liftgate at the lock area for the inside panel.

Where did you acquire said push button? I've had this problem for a few years now.

You can get them anywhere... Advance Auto Parts, Auto Zone, O'Reilly's, etc. They're not difficult to come by. If those don't work, there's plenty of places online which sell them.
The procedure is more the same for any other switch on that panel.. I had to replace my headlight switch. Just remove the two screws in the panel above the instrument cluster, and the whole bezel pulls out. Then you disconnect the connectors for the 4x4 and the switches on that panel (head and parking lamps, rear hatch button, panel dimmer), pop out the switch you're replacing, and just pop the new one in. Mine had one unused panel, so I drilled through it to mount the switches for my headlight and taillight wig wags.

Ummm...this is about the push button on the tail gate, not the dash.

Okay. It's still not particularly difficult to find those.
