Ok, so I’ve tried to search this, but hard to find what it would be called . So my 4x4 vacuum switch was replaced. As well as the actuator , now it didn’t work when I bought the truck, so now I have 4x4 hi and low forward, but not in reverse, just to confirm my theories, is my transfer case on the way out? I do not mind swapping it out, I more so just want to know! And I think I need to redo vacuum lines as I have a suspicion my front axles are always locked when vehicle is running. Any help is greatly appreciated

That’s a very strange issue I’ve never encountered before. Sorry I can’t be much help, but I’m interested what others will have to say

Thank you, glad I’m not the only one who’s never heard of this, I first thought the vacuum wasn’t pulling enough to engage it, but going forward I have hi and lo, but only 2wd in reverse, so I figure it has to be transfer case related. Now to replace it or find another and use mine for parts
