Jumped the terminal as instructed and it's only putting out about 57psi and the leak down results were the same...down to 52psi after pump shut down and stayed there. It's interesting because if both numbers were 3 or 4 psi higher these tests would pass...hope this Guage isn't faulty lol

It may be a bit before I can do the max test. Wife bought me a new 3 ton jack and Michelin creeper for the job...win! Lol

What gauge are you using? I tried two harbor freight gauges before I gave up on them, one leaked, another I moved the gauge a little and dropped like 5 psi. I wanted a gauge for myself so bought a good one off amazon for 30ish bucks, love it!

To get accurate diagnostic results, you need accurate test equipment If you doubt your equipment, it's time verify the accuracy of it.

You got a thread for how to do that Capt

Maybe just buy another and take one back lol I don't know anyone that has another to compare to.

Maybe I'll see if I can find the service port on her Santa Fe and check her pressure against what it's supposed to be...hmmm...

LOL get three gauges and play "odd man out". Or buy an expensive one and trust it I have 3 gauges: The 2 expensive ones read identical, the third one is a cheapie and it's within two psi of the others at 60psi.
