Default Rough start up, miss fire?

the past 2 mornings i get ready to go to work and when i start up my 00 blazer it starts rough and idles rough, i give it some gas and it sounds horrible so i drove another truck instead. But when i came home and tried it again it was fine so i took to autozone and the scanned it and said my number 6 cylinder is misfiring. It also did this again this morning but i just got home and started it up and it was fine. it only does this when i first start it in the mornings, im guessing i need a tune up?

Sounds like your getting moisture in your dist. cap or wires, I dont know were you live, but were I live it has been very humid and damp in the mournings, that will cause moisture buildup in dist. cap, rotor, and wires. A full tune-up should correct your problem.

i live in SC, also when i start to accelerate from a stop normally it feels a little sluggish and then the rpms will just go up and it will suddenly take off without me giving it more gas, im think i'll do a tune up... anyone know the prices tune ups run on blazers?

well you want to go with AC Delco / GM parts some parts stores carry these.

Plugs, cap, rotor, wires you are looking at about $250.00 with tax
spend the money for the oem parts!

you will regret it if you settle for aftermarket.
