I've acquired a '48 Ford F-1 and plan on putting an S10 chassis under it. I'm a Chevy guy at heart and the the thought of making the F-1 Chevy powered gets me all giddy. the 4.3 is a bit under powered for what I want, a stock 350 or better yet a 327 is more in line with what my power needs are.

I'd love to hear about some conversion to SBC experiences.
