I have a 2003 Blazer Extreme with 4.3 that wont pass smog. Service engine light is on. Truck runs great, no misses, smooth. I scanned with my handheld, and got code p0016 and p300, indicating cam/crank correlation issue. I replaced both Cam and Crank sensor, along with o2 and gas cap. cleared codes and test drove. Light came on again and P10016 code went away. p300 codes is still there. Service engine light is still on not solid but flashing,but wont pass smog. Any suggestions before i condemn truck? BTW 158k miles

 

You need to find someone with a higher end scanner. Shop would have one. Crank needs a ckp relearn, cam sensor may go away after that or you may need to have that adjusted
