SEVERE Coolent leak please help :(

will a pressure test show that leak, i think i have the same problem

It should show all leaks other than an internal intake manifold gasket leak in which case you would hear but not see it. I had to replace the riser pipe on top of the engine because it had rusted through...as you mentioned it's rusted you might want to replace it even if it's not leaking YET. Since you have a pool of coolant on top of the intake manifold then it's most likely not the LIM gasket. I think I paid $10 for a pressure test at my local garage vs about $50-60 to buy the tool. Maybe Autozone has one in the loan a tool program.

im am going to rent a pressure tester in the next day or so to see where the leak is coming from, at least i have the advantage that it is a very slow leak at the moment. Will the pressure test make any worst than it is now?

No, you only pump it up to 16 pounds of pressure which is the same as the operating pressure. If there's a big leak it's hard to even get it up to pressure.
