Shock Absorber Rant!
Just purchased Monroe Reflex rear shocks from Amazon for my 01 ZR2 Blazer, they came in a factory sealed box from Monroe WITHOUT NEW HARDWARE....WTF?
Lol, geeze, it aint like the old days anymore.

Any shock I've ever replaced on cars has never come with new bolts or nuts. On my LS I didn't expect any since the stocks ones are pretty beefy.

I would't worry unless your old ones are damaged, really rusty, or otherwise beyond use. Wire brush them and then put a touch of anti-seize on the threads. If you don't like the idea of anti- seize, use some blue Loc-Tite. Good to go!

Will do, I just assumed new shocks came with new nuts/bolts. seems like they used to 15-20 rears ago. Even struts I've replaced (Monroe) had new hardware for my Volvo's.

Yes, back in the good ole days you got new hardware with your shocks. Back then it was common practice to cut bolts off with a cutting torch and install with new hardware, very quick turn around. I suspect this practice stopped to save money.
