Default Short in drivers side headlight

i will try and make it so everyone can understand this lol. so i made some brackets and mounted some 4" halo fog lights in behind my grill. i had everything good to go just had to mount the switch in the truck. so my grandpa come over and thought hooking them up to the driver side headlight would make them come on when the driving lights came on. so of course it didnt work. now the daytime driving lights are very dim on the drivers side and only the passanger side lights work. any help would be great because i like to see when i drive. Thanks

if they are still hooked up to those other lights try unhooking up them. im guessing the driving lights are a low amperage and cant power all them lights

i removed the foglights and reconnected the wires be soldering them and then heat shrinking them. so now i have one very very dim drivers side fog light and a normal passanger side light. none of the fuses are blown. im thinking a wire is melted somewhere but i have no idea how to find it
