sigh .....another fog light question

Default sigh .....another fog light question

Hey all I have been scanning the subject of fog lights.........My blazer never cam with them I have a safari bar where they are going to be mounted ........now I also picked up the factory light switch with the fog swich in it switch to replace the old one with now the switch is independant of the cluster etc........

the question is ............can i run this switch to my fog lights without a relay ?

Yes you can, but a relay is for if you were to run smaller gauge wire. Depending on the kit you got, it may or may not have came with a relay, but its not really a requirement.

I want to bypass the computer or would it more of a pain in the a$$ not to I am using the harness that came withthem ......(kC so it should be good)

anyone know a proper pin out for this factory switch? I think 2 have constant power One has to be ground and the 4th for lights on and off? thanks

Not sure what you mean by the second part of your question. But the easiest way to hardwire would be to use a 2 pin switch. Then you need a positive 12volts coming into that switch then have a positive wire coming off of the other pin of the switch and run that to the lights you want. Next would be run your lights in parallel, which is hooking all the positives together, and all the negatives together. Last would be to ground your negatives for the lights and connect the positive comingaway fromthe switch to the positive for the lights. It gets harder to wire when you add relays and/or a different switch.
