I brought it today to a Chevy dealership where my best friend is the shop forman for an inspection, oil change and an antifreeze flush. All was fine except seems my transfer case is leaking and I need a little front end work. Since its under an outside warranty I have to wait till monday to call them and ask the proper "procedure" of getting it approved. So I don't wind up paying a TON of money when it's covered. Shocks look new and theres a bunch of rust under there... also my driver's door needs more then just the pin and bushing... I'm going to have to replace the hinges, which means BODY SHOP!! ug....

On the plus side... maybe while it's there he can take care of that rear bracket holding the spare on...since it needs a repaint as well.

 

heh, nothing like our annual spring drivetrain tune up.

At least I have a warranty. My friend is going to call them on Monday and get approval for the work and get it started as soon as he does. I don't want to let any of this stuff go. I was standing under the truck today and I saw what was going on... now time to get it taken care of..

no problem... in about a week or two you'll see "its all fixed" lol! just got to also find out what i can do about the rust under there...
