Smelling Antifreez

I am smelling anti freez in the truck and the window is fogging up real bad any ideas?? Some one told me heater hoses, i cheked them and dont seem to be damaged but maybe im retarded!! any info would help. Thanks

Are you sure they did not say heater core? These symptoms are definite signs of a heater core failure. Check the floor on the passenger side near the transmission tunnel.

Heater core without a doubt. If you feel like tearing out your entire dash (literally) the part is fairly cheap. Otherwise, anywhere from $700-1000 to have it replaced.

I just had a heater core replaced on my 1997. I choose to have it done, it cost me about $350 complete. I stopped by the shop when they were doing it & the whole dash has to come out. I was glad I had it done instead of doing it myself. It saved me $350 worth of pissed off.
