smoke coming from left AC vent??!

You could try taking all of the bulbs out of the headlight switch to see if one of those is bad. Not too difficult to get to.

Ok so I went ahead and I put back the 10 amp fuse back in(fuse #12) to try to find out where the problem is by taking off bulbs until smoking stops...
Sadly when I put back the fuse the cluster lights did not come on at all.. They used to come on before.
On the old switch it had smoked and burnt up for a good 2 minutes and the lights would still come on if the fuse was in. On this new switch it only smoked for a few seconds when I put the fuse in after installation . I took it back out so I could diagnose it later but now the lights won't come on anymore...

So right now all fuses are good, the switch works fine(except for the dimmer). All I've got at night is the airbag light, mileage indicator, gear indicator, 4wd Orange light, and my stereo systems lights. The compass at top doesn't turn on either but the individual lights do..
I'm really lost
