Smoke gets in your eyes.

I am having fits trying to get my '96 lined out. I fixed the coolant leak and then it started blowing fuel out the tail pipe. Rather than tie up my garage, I had other stuff waiting, I took it to a shop that I trust. The injector for #1 cylinder was spraying fuel full blast. I put the updated injectors in it and the puppy still blows smoke. It's idling at 3500 rpm and turns the neighborhood white.
The injectors have been chaged. I'm wondering if something is sending a faulty signal. Anybody got any ideas? Basically it's doing the same thing but not having the hydroilocking it had before. At least that is gone. I just can't shake the feeling something isn't connected right or there is one huge vacuum leak. I'm running and running but getting nowhere fast.

Usually, coolant is the cause of white smoke. However, I've seen gasoline, when you really dump it in, like a stuck float, do the same thing. I'm suspecting the seal didn't take on the intake. That would cause both coolant and excessive vacuum.
