so i got a bit sloppy.
My mom had asked me to find out where a gas smell was coming from. So I dropped the "skid plate" and found no visible signs of gas, next I took off the straps, dropped the tank and discovered it was a loose fuel line. Tightened it up and reassembled the blazer. Go to crank it over and nothing. Keep in mind that it was running the day prior and I didn't pull the tank because of performance issues. The pump isn't priming at all. I cranked it enough to have worked and air out of the fuel lines. So I dropped the tank again and while I'm down there I notice that the connector pins in the fuel pressure sensor have backed out of the harness. unlikely that this happens right as I'm putting it back together, I know. So I went to "rebuild" the harness as best I could to prevent the pins from walking out and I lost the order of the wires in the harness, and I've learned from experience that guess and check is not smart. So you know its a 2002 ls. If anyone can take a picture or knows for sure the order of the 3 wires so I can finish this damned truck that would be great. Thanks in advance. also I sat on google and searched the forums for about 6 hours last night

I think I've found what I need. I went to the JY and pulled a few tanks. I couldn't find any rear mount tanks with the same color combo that my pig tail had but I did find a side mount tank that had the same color wires. is it safe to assume that even though the tanks are mounted differently, that the wire order is the same? I wound up cutting the pig tail and taking it with me so I can splice wires if need be. i'll attach the worlds first and only picture of this harness.20130531_134659.jpg Photo by Kegan_Hensley | Photobucket
Ground is very important. Whenever I've done anything with fuel tanks or pumps or anything else electrical under the body I've always cleaned the grounds and made sure they were solid. Resistance is the enemy of good current flow!
