On my 2003 gm blazer the stand alone platform and a the letter is T for four wheel drive so I have been told its also the 5th letter in the vin but not all vehicles have a letter much less in the vins 5th location so how do you find the stand alone letter for any vehicle.Is there a list or chart.This is for the listing in the tech 2 scanner and don't think there is anything in the tool manual.

 

On passenger cars, the 4th & 5th characters of the VIN tell the platform.
Light duty trucks, it's the 5th & 6th characters.
