Have had a problem with the floor shifter being harder and harder to move into gear. Well, now she is locked up solid! Can't move it ay all. Stuck in park. I went to park it, put it into parking gear, now it won't move. I turn the key and nothing happens. Try to step on the brake and turn the ignition to release the shifter, can't do it. The engine won't turn over either. Is there a switch in the shifter or around there that activates the ignition? Thanks for the help.
