I actually did replace it when I bought the truck, so it's only a few months old. Not that I'm too worried about having to do it again, it's around $20 for gear oil and a seal, I'm just starting to loose my mind after every single repair getting in my truck hoping its finally gone and its still there.... ugh!

Now I'm back to wondering on the chance of the passenger CV axle... should have just replaced the dang thing when I had the front end torn apart last weekend.

At this point I'll probably just say forget about it until spring when I get my other car out. I'm spending too much money on this right now and its probably been there for the past several thousand miles, I'm sure it'll hold up another thousand between now and April - dont really drive much. Not really trying to spend my entire tax return chasing down this stupid noise.

 

I feel ya! Just turn the radio up louder, lol!
