strange vibrations
I have hit a wall in trying to address a problem with my 2005 ZR2 blazer. At about 50 mph I get a vibration that i thought was from worn front hubs. This because the ABS light was also turning on. As this is my 3rd ZR2 and the ABS always comes on when the hub needs replacing I went ahead and replaced them both. Unfortunely it didn't help the vibration and the ABS is still coming on piriodically. Actually it comes on with the emergency brake light as well. Can anyone suggest a new course of action or have you exoerienced this problem. Thanks in advance for any suggestions or information.
I should mention that I have tried 3 different sets of tires including swapping the wheels and tires between my 99 and 2005 ZR2s and it still vibrated the same and the 05 tires were fine on the 99.
I've recently learned that scans are not free in Canada so I'd solve this issue first then deal with the light if it returns. I've read threads about front differentials partially engaging on the highway. It's the next thing I think of since the noise is coming from the front, or you wouldn't have replaced both front hub assemblies.
