Default Stupid Airbag light....

Hi!
My '98 is showing the airbag light on the dash (comes and goes with a large bump or two) ...I'll assume that means it's not functioning? (no biggie - I hate those things) but where is the loose plug likely to be...or is there another issue? Just asking before I have to take it to the $$ shop....
Thanks for your help,
GT

Id start by checking all the chassis sensor locations first, question is how do you shut the light off once it's been fixed...

You could check the airbag sensor wires that come off wheel hubs, they go to plug in connectors. Un-plug them clean and re-plug. Could fix your problem.

Sensors on the wheel hubs are for ABS, the air bag sensors are mounted to the frame behind the bumper, and in the steering column Air bag wiring covers and connectors are all yellow.

Thanks for the tid-bits....anyone know of a 'map'(wiring schematic) where I can see were all
the air bag connectors are? I'm not much of a car wrench (prefer the simpler two-wheeled thingies )
