My 1995 blazer hasn't run in 8 months. It's been sitting on my lawn. I want to get it on the road. I've tried to start it but the battery is dead- won't take a recharge with the charger. Any suggestions on what else I should do to get it back on the road. Any help is appreciated.

 

I would:

1. Change motor oil/trans and filters,air filter,fuel filter,check tires/air pressure.
2. Add 5 or so gallons of fresh gas
3. New Battery,check all fuses.
4. Clean&shine up exterior/interior,grease all zirk fittings underneath & lube door hinges.
5. Depending how it ran,i may clean the EGR valve too.
