temp gauge doesn't work

Default temp gauge doesn't work

what can I do to fix this problem. also this 95 feel like its all over the road at speed over 85kms any ideas. Thanks

Replace the gauge sending unit. It is located in the driver side cylinder head.

As I recall the sending unit is just above the spark plugs just over 1/2 way back on the driver's side. First make sure the wire is making good connection to the sending unit. If the guage still does not work then take the wire off and connect a jumper wire from the wire terminal to a good ground on the engine. Then turn the key to on. If the guage goes to full the sending unit is bad. If not you have another problem. Do not leave the key on with the jumper wire connected any longer than necessary.

i had the same problem and all i did is put in a new gauge for about 20 bucks i put in a mechanical temp gauge there that a hole in the firewall just under the glove box but then again i have a 97
