Replaced my rear axle assembly and ujoints on my 96 blazer, all was fine now I'm getting an intermittent clicking sound from under the car, only happens when accelerating and not when parked or shifted into neutral. Any ideas

 

You can start with - check for wear in replacement diff, all shock mounts, loose u joint clips and u bands and brakes for wear and adjustment as a out of adjustment brake shoe or pad will vibrate and rattle

 

It almost sounds like a metal hitting metal sound, it will do it at about 5-10 mph , i step on the gas and it does it, as soon as i let off, it'll stop, then step on gas and it's back. Can sometimes get it to stop by placing it in rev then drive.

 

check the dust shield

 

also - check the heat shields over the cat ect. on the exhaust
