Years ago things were made in Japan, then made in Taiwan, Vietnam, ECT, now it's China. It's what ever country is rising to their potential at the time gets the glory. Back then we had the option of searching out the made in USA products. Sadly as bad as I hate to admit it the truth is even with the made in USA the quality is slack. The only pride left is too punch a time clock and collect a paycheck and that runs from the head of the company on down to the lowly fool. Make it cheaper and raise the price is the way today .....
I'LL GET OFF THE SOAP BOX AND QUIT PREACHING NOW ....

Hmm, perhaps I should say I am not American, I live in the UK, a Brit.

But, I have 3 American vehicles in my garage.

Trying to buy US made parts for them is almost impossible.

Have owned my Vette for 39 years.

How much of this can you blame on NAFTA? Besides 99% of it.

I put Timken hubs on my '99' 4 door 4x4 Jimmy 3 1/2 years and 75,000 miles ago. They were made in S. Korea. Maybe they changed since then, but mine are still fine. You have to torque them right. On my 99 they torque to 103 ft. lbs.

I recently got a set of black steel Vision wheels. Far as I know, they're manufactured in Alabama.
