Default Front Wheel bearing hub assembly brand

Need to replace front wheel bearing hub assembly on my 2002 blazer. There are many different brands to choose from out there and the prices vary widely. Anyone recomend a brand, Is it ok to go cheaper on front wheel bearings or do I need to get AC delco?

In my opinion if you want the hubs to last more than a year you should go with Moog or another high-end brand. The general consensus on the forum is that the cheap brand wheel bearings will fail quickly on these trucks. Even so-called mid-level hubs don't last well. I tried a set of the NAPA brand mid-range hubs and they failed in less than a year. I've been driving on a set of Moog hubs now for almost 2 years and they're as tight and smooth as when I installed them.

Timken makes excellent quality bearings and seals. The cheap ones tend to fail more in the abs circuit. It hurts to spend that much, but it only hurts once and then no worries. The 36 mm axle nut gets torqued to 103 foot pounds and the 3 mounting bolts get 77 foot pounds..
