hello, can anyone tell me if i could possibly have flexplate and tourqe converter damage due to a tow with driveshaft still connected? a tow company had picked our blazer up while i was at work and when i got it back tranny and starting problems were present.i asked her if it was a flat bed truck that had picked it up and she said it was not.i had called the tow company and they insist that they never towed it with a regular truck and that they had come back and got it with a flat bed. my wife is sure she saw this guy drive away with a regular truck. any answeres would be greatfully apreciated! the blazer also sounds like a rc car going down the road now

 

What state are you in. This is a civil matter. The fact that your wife saw them take it with a regular truck, should make your life a bit easer. Most states now have small claims filing on line.
When I am sued in this manner I pass the docket # off to my insurance company. Rather then spend the money in kangaroo court they most often will just send you a check. Remember you will never get more then Blue Book, hope this helps. It's She said She said so have a mechanic write you a letter that the truck was damaged by this towing method. He might charge you a $150 bucks.
