sorry if this is in the wrong section but u wasent sure where to put it. i have a 2002 blazer zr2 and i was curious if anyone knows for sure whether or not a reciever hitch for a regular 2 door blazer will bolt onto a zr2 blazer. i tried to do research but some websites say u need to modify one and others say it will bolt on. does anyone know wat will work?

Measure how far apart the bolts are on the hitch and see if they're the same distance as the mounting points on your ZR2. If they match, itll bolt right on.

Oh, gotcha. Well on this website they say most of them will also fit ZR2's, so one of those will more than likely fit.

I paid $120 at Advanced for mine. Just go there state vehicle info, etc. But if you wanted a cheap price there's a 99 Blazer and a junkyard I go to that I'll try to get back there and snag it up. I go once a month and sometimes I score.
Just measure from outside your frames and I'll measure mine to see if the ZR2 is same as a 4dr.

I pulled a hitch from a four door and mounted it on my ZR2. The answer to your question is yes it will fit.

I hab a buddy that was parting out a 95 Blazer and I have a 99
with a step bumper the 95 had the roll pan bumper I had to get the die grinder and do some cutting as the brackets would fit took about 1 hour to install ez job
now have a 6000 pound class 3 hitch on the back of my 99 blazer
and it was FREE
