Easy one - here is my response in a thread on this very topic:
Wiring for Towing
This information came out of my owner's manual for my 2000. Wiring may be different so consult your manual.

The large one is the ground as the link I posted states. The fact that there is more than one is alittle puzzling though. Test them with a multimeter to confirm what they are if you do not have a manual.

large white is ground and the small white is aux stop lamps and in owners manual it says that the its a 6 post and has electric brakes (blue) and no rear back up lanmps (light green) "only with 8 post" but yet there is no blue but there is a light green so i just put the light green in place of the blue. what do you think? let me know your feed back. thanks

I would say that the small white wire is the auxilliary stop lamps (light blue wire in my reference above). You can test this with a test light. Connect the ground of the test light to the large white wire and then the tip of the test light to the small white wire. If the light turns on when you hit the brakes, you have your answer.
