I have an 02 Blazer 4x4 and when i go from 4 hi to 2 hi, everything seems fine until the transmission shifts into second. Then it feels like it's slamming into gear. Any ideas? It only has 98k on it and runs like a champ. Any help would be much appreciated. It's been a while since I has a Blazer to wrench on.

Only after you shift from 4HI to 2HI...? There should be nothing in the change from 4HI to 2HI that would impact the shifting of the transmission....

I know this, but it does it anyway. I know the full size tahoes and trucks had issues with the actuator that engaged the 4 wheel drive. I didn't kjnow if the S10s had the same issues or not. Doesn't seem to affect anything but I am sure it will eventually. I am changing all the transmission and tcase fluids this weekend if the weather permits. Any recommendations on what kind of fluid? I was going to use Mobil 1.
