Question Transmission filter kit for 98 4d 2wd Blazer - shallow or deep?

Aparently there is this option on autozone's web site if you try to buy a trans filter kit. How do I know which one to get? Thanks!!!!

Take a look at your pan, if the bottom of the pan is flat all the way across its the shallow pan. The deep pan has a noticeable step in it.

I'm not 100% sure, but I think the 2wd all used the shallow pan.

I'm 99% sure it's shallow. If the pan is only about 2-1/2" from top to bottom then it takes the shallow filter. I have yet to even see one of these deep pans. Somewhere I think I saw that they came on Heavy Duty applications. i.e. Corvettes or behind big motors in trucks.
