Default transmission slipping when cold

My 2003 Blazer transmission has an intermittent slip in first gear when cold. I put two bottles of Lucas Transmission Fix in the transmission, and still have the problem. Some days it shifts perfectly, and other days not. I suspect the torque converter drains when rotated to certain positions when standing for lengths of time. It also makes more noise when it is slipping.

Is there anything else I can do?

Default Change the transmission filter

I second that... Change the transmission filter, filter seal, and fluid.

If the filter is partially clogged it is hard for the transmission fluid to flow properly. It gets worse if the outdoor temperature has dropped since the transmission fluid is thicker.
