I have a 1999 trailblazer the trany is whining is seems to be shifting fine & abs light on pulled codes have a PO174 & PO171 has anyone had this problem

 

P0171 - Fuel Trim System Lean Bank 1
P0174 - Fuel Trim System Lean Bank 2

Do you have any exhaust leaks?

Your ABS system has to be read by a compatible scan tool (high feature). Generic OBD2 scan tools cannot access it.

Is the whine fairly constant or does it fade a bit above 1800RPM or when the torque converter locks up when in overdrive? There are a number of possibilities that can cause a whine from the transmission. Torque converter, front pump, etc. There are also other things that can cause it; alternator, power steering pump, etc...
